I'm clueless about what the title means in english but I'm sure the video has something to do with teamwork, design process, and so much fun.

Floating Logos by Matt Siber

Inspired by the proliferation of very tall signs in the American Mid-West, Floating Logos seeks to draw attention to this often overlooked form of advertising. Perched atop very tall poles or stanchions, these corporate beacons emit their message by looming over us in their glowing, plastic perfection. Elimination of the support structure in the photographs allows the signs to literally float above the earth. In some cases the ground is purposefully left out of the image to further emphasize the disconnect between the corporate symbols and terra firma.

Making the signs appear to float not only draws attention to this type of signage but also gives them, and the companies that put them there, an otherworldly quality. References can be drawn to religious iconography, the supernatural, popular notions of extraterrestrials, or science fiction films such as Blade Runner. Each of these references refers to something that can profoundly affect our lives yet is just beyond our control and comprehension.

Fast and Furious Photoshop Tutorial Browser

If you're looking for a faster way to browse through different Photoshop tutorials, check out Vunky Search. Users can use keywords or click the randomize button to see dozens of tutorials from different sites thumbnailed on the main page. Clicking on the thumbnail opens a new window which makes it easier to go back to the tutorial gallery quickly.
According to their site, the idea came out of the continually browsing of different Photoshop tutorial websites. These website are usually full of unnecessary side information, which makes browsing on them very slow. Vunky Search is a fast and visual way of browsing through Photoshop tutorials. It does not contain any actual tutorials, but marly functions as a jump-board towards different Photoshop tutorial websites.

Same Old Brand New Me

Was planning to redesign after a year, but with a few months left to wait and with more plans to improve the blog, I realized it won't hurt if I do it early.
Here's a screenshot of how the blog look like before the minor makeover:
...and after:
I think the result is easier on the eye and reflects more of my personality. If you're reading from your feed reader or an email subscription, and want to see the changes in my graphic design blog, please do stop by and have a look.

Marketing Changes
Carlos Mandelbaum, the man behind Carnival of Ideas discusses the movement in marketing from creating print ads and TV commercials to creating conversations about brands. A must-see for anyone in the advertising industry, as well as an eye-opener for all of us who consume marketing communications everyday.
Below, another video about the changes in marketing realities based on a concept by German ad agency Scholz & Friends. According to Michael Reissinger, it took about 5 weeks for him and his animator Rafael Ahamad to make this shorty - including all the illustration, typo-art-works and the animation.
